These are the snaps from my recent visit to Dapoli.
I boarded the Thane-Dabhol Night Express from Thane(CBS) at 9:30PM.
It was a night journey so only managed to click few good ones.

I actually don't what one calls these ladies, who carry Goddess idol on their heads and ask for money

Funny looking yet dangerous type of decoration done to a local bus in Miraj's local bus stand in Abdul Karim Khaan chowk. I was amazed to see how RTO could allow such highly decorated buses on the roads...but its was a good sign to see a BRIDAL collection. Notice 'Manchester' written on wind shield.

This video was shot from the MSRTC's Asiad Bus in the Khambaatki Ghat on Satara-Pune NH4.

Local ST bus was reversing at Sangali depot. This video was shot from a local bus.

Each ST conductor carries this metal box with them which contains cash and tickets. This was found lying in the Pune-Thane Asiad bus.

Notice for passengers: 1) On request, Complaint register and Rate card is available with conductor. 2) It is dangerous to lean out of the running bus.
