सावंतवाडी ते चिपळूण दर दोन तासाला एसटी बस धावणार

This will fill up a glaring gap in connectivity. So far, apart from the Sawantwadi - Dapoli and Malvan - Mumbai buses, there was no bus connecting Sindhudurg to northern part of Ratnagiri district. The night buses to Mumbai were utterly inconvenient as they crossed Chiplun between 1 and 3 am.

सावंतवाडी ते चिपळूण या मार्गावर दर दोन तासाने एसटी बस धावणार आहे. ही बस येत्या 16 तारीखपासून (16 March 2011) दररोज धावेल. एसटी महामंडळाने चिपळूण ते मुंबई अशी नवी बस सुरू केली आहे. या बस गाडीला जोडूनच सावंतवाडी ते चिपळूण अशी नवी गाडी सिंधुदुर्ग एसटी विभागाने सुरू केली आहे. ही बस सावंतवाडी येथून सकाळी सहा, आठ, दहा, दुपारी दोन, सायंकाळी चार आणि साडेपाचला सुटणार आहे. याच पद्धतीने परतीसाठी चिपळूण ते सावंतवाडी असा प्रवास करेल. महामंडळाकडे दाखल झालेल्या नव्या कोऱ्या एअर सस्पेशन 47 आसणी बसमधून हा प्रवास असेल. यासाठी चिपळूणपर्यंत 246 रूपये फूल तर 123 रूपये हाफ तिकीट राहील. प्रवाशांनी या सेवेचा लाभ घेण्याचे आवाहन कामगार संघटनेचे विभागीय सचिव दिलीप साटम यांनी केले आहे.

एसटीचा 'बिझनेस क्लास' प्रवास

4 Jan 2011मटा ऑनलाइन वृत्त । मुंबई खासगी बस वाहतूकदारांना टक्कर देण्यासाठी एसटी महामंडळाच्या ताफ्यात यंदाच्या वषीर् ६० व्होल्व्हो बसचा समावेश होत आहे. यामध्ये प्रत्येकी एक कोटी रुपयेे किमतीच्या दोन जम्बो व्होल्व्होंचा समावेश असून त्यामध्ये विमानातील बिझनेस क्लासप्रमाणे सेमी स्लीपरची व्यवस्था असेल. एक जम्बो बस मुंबई-पुणे आणि दुसरी बस मुंबई-पुणे-बेंगळुरू मार्गावर धावेल. पुण्याच्या मार्गावरही व्होल्व्हो बसची संख्या वाढवली जाणार आहे. एसटी महामंडळाने प्रवासी वाढवा अभियान सुरू करतानाच प्रवाशांना आकषिर्त करण्यासाठी ६० व्होल्व्हो बसेस घेण्याची महत्त्वाकांक्षी योजना आखली आहे. त्यातील २५ व्होल्व्हो बसेसची खरेदी करण्यात येणार असून उर्वरित ३५ व्होल्व्हो बस भाडेतत्त्वावर घेतल्या जातील. फेब्रुवारीमध्ये पहिली व्होल्व्हो बस ताफ्यात दाखल होईल. एप्रिलपर्यंत सर्व २५ बस येतील, अशी माहिती महामंडळाचे व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक दीपक कपूर यांनी दिली. ३५ बस भाडेतत्त्वावर घेण्याचा ठरावही महामंडळात मंजूर झाला आहे. जूनपर्यंत या बसेस दाखल होतील. फेब्रुवारीत पहिली जम्बो येईल. शिवनेरीप्रमाणे जम्बो बसचेही नामकरण होईल. त्यासाठी सहा-सात नावे सुचवली आहेत. ............. नवे मार्ग पुणे-ठाणे, स्वारगेट-बोरिवली, मुंबई सेंट्रल-स्वारगेट, पुणे-ठाणे, औरंगाबाद-पुणे मुंबई-पुणे २७० रु. एक बस मुंबई-पुणे मार्गावर, तिकीट २७० रु. द्य - दुसरी बस मुंबई-पुणे-बेंगळुरू मार्गावर. मुंबईहून निघालेली बस ४५ मिनिटे पुण्याला थांबेल. नंतर बंेगळुरूकडे रवाना होईल. आलिशान जम्बो सर्वसाधारण व्होल्व्होत लांबी १२ मीटर आणि ४५ सीट द्य जम्बो बस १३.७ मीटर लांब, ५३ सीट सीट १८० अंशांत मागे झुकतील. सेमी स्लीपरने प्रवास करता येईल. दादर एशियाडसाठी एसी स्टँड दादरच्या नाना शंकरशेट फ्लायओव्हरखाली नवीन एसी स्टँड ५० लाख रुपये खर्च व्होल्व्हो व शीतलच्या प्रवाशांसाठी दोन स्वतंत्र एसी वेटिंग रूम दोन्ही बसच्या तिकिटांसाठी दोन स्वतंत्र खिडक्या ड्रायव्हर-कंडक्टरसाठी एसी रेस्ट रूम लवकरच मुख्यमंत्र्यांच्या हस्ते उद्घाटन शिवाजी नगर व स्वारगेट स्टँडही सुधारण्याची योजना

मुंबई पुणे मार्गावर एसी शिवनेरी बसला मिळणारा वाढता प्रतिसाद पाहून एसटी महामंडळाने दादर स्वारगेट अशी मसिर्डिझ बेन्झची नवी शिवनेरी बससेवा सुरू करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला असून ही सेवा आज सोमवारी उद्घाटन होत आहे. दहा टायरची ही एअर सस्पेंशन बस डबल एक्सेल असल्याने अधिक आरायमदायी आहे.

दादरहून निघालेली ही बस मैत्रीपार्क, वाशी हायवे, कळंबोली, मेगाहायवे, वाकड, चांदणी चौक कोथरुड मागेर् स्वारगेट अशी जाईल.

ही बससेवा प्रायोगिक तत्त्वावर सुरू केली आहे. प्रवाशांना परतीच्या तिकीटासह आरक्षण सुविधा इंटरनेटवर उपलब्ध आहे.

दादर : स. ७.३०, सायं. ४ स्वारगेट : दु. १२, रात्री ८

दादर ते स्वारगेट :

प्रौढांसाठी २८० रु.,

लहान मुलांसाठी १४५रु.

वाशी हायवे ते स्वारगेट : प्रौढांसाठी २५०रु.

लहान मुलांसाठी १३० रु.

The Hell - Panvel

I had traveled via Panvel Bus Stand almost n number of times. The situation of the bus depot has never improved. Even after multiple efforts were taken to improve infrastructure of the depot, it still looks like a hell on earth.

Due to the flyover work is on, on the Mumbai - Pune road in Panvel area, the situation has become really worst. Due to continuous digging of road, dust never settles down even when the monsoon was n till November this year 2010.
While I was returning from Satara, our Satara-Thane- Borivali Asiad took "diesel halt" at Panvel. I could capture few pictures of the 'Oil House' and surroundings.

The 'Oil House' where all the registers are kept. Just next to this is an underground fuel tank. surroundings are so filthy here that a super fit person will have to visit doctor after a visit to Panvel depot.
